Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to understand individual needs and create tailored therapy plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic techniques, to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to enhance client care and create comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Participate in regular training sessions and workshops to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and therapeutic techniques.

• Advocate for clients and assist in navigating community resources to ensure holistic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves adults and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Many clients experience barriers to accessing traditional mental health services, emphasizing the need for empathetic professionals who can adapt and personalize their approach based on diverse backgrounds and specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in California.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health counseling.

• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and digital documentation tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
