Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and collaborate with individuals to develop tailored treatment plans that establish clear, achievable objectives.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions focused on prevention, skill-building, and recovery in a manner that is both engaging and supportive.

• Monitor and evaluate the efficacy of treatment strategies, making modifications as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work alongside fellow therapists, physicians, and community resources to coordinate holistic care that addresses all aspects of the client’s well-being.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, including session notes and treatment updates, in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

• Manage a diverse caseload effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and ongoing client engagement.

• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, strategies, and foster a collaborative spirit among the team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Rivia, you will work with individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our goal is to create a non-judgmental space that empowers clients to explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of California.

• A bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads effectively, including timely documentation and follow-through.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in community mental health settings is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with resources available across the San Jose area is a plus, allowing you to effectively connect clients with necessary support.

• Previous experience providing telehealth services, demonstrating adaptability in virtual therapeutic environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
