You will primarily engage with patients through virtual platforms, conducting assessments and therapy sessions from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their unique needs and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring a personalized approach for each individual.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate patient engagement and progress.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering a supportive community for individuals in recovery, guiding discussions on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and shared experiences.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatry personnel, addiction medicine specialists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment plans for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention support during acute substance-related medical emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and effective care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, promoting awareness of recovery strategies, and connecting them with valuable community resources.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development, ensuring staying current with best practices and emerging research in substance use disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily interact with adults struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol and drugs. Your role will involve working with patients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. The nature of telehealth allows us to extend our reach to individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and a strong command of evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient care.
\n
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure patient confidentiality in all interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using various computer applications.

• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in the mental health sector, particularly within the domain of substance use recovery. Experience utilizing telehealth technologies for therapy delivery is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with the potential for performance-based bonuses. Additional benefits include:
