Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and treatment goals of patients entering the substance use disorder treatment program.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are aligned with the unique experiences of each client.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic approaches such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques to facilitate client engagement and empowerment.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that foster support and shared experiences among clients, helping them realize they are not alone in their struggles.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists to ensure the delivery of integrated and coordinated care, addressing the comprehensive needs of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Active and valid licensure as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.

• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an empathic, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Strong ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring the confidentiality of client information.

• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technological tools required for telehealth services.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
