Work Environment\n

This position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging with the vibrant mental health community in California. Our outpatient office is equipped with the latest telehealth technology, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions virtually. We operate from Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while still offering some flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs, creating tailored treatment plans that facilitate engaging therapeutic progress.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing methods like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to instill coping mechanisms, foster resilience, and promote mental wellness in the community.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and community resources, to ensure comprehensive care and holistic treatment for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring rapid response to urgent patient needs.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient information.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by actively participating in team meetings, case consultations, and community service initiatives.

• Stay current with research and innovative practices in mental health, continually enhancing service delivery based on emerging knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, including adults grappling with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Our focus extends to individuals from various cultural backgrounds, and you will play a crucial role in adapting therapeutic approaches to fit the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is mandatory.

• Proficient knowledge of current mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
