This position is a remote role, allowing for a flexible work setting that caters to the needs of the modern workforce. The workweek generally runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders to identify their unique needs and establish personalized goals.

• Create tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions, focusing on helping patients reframe negative thought patterns and develop coping strategies.

• Lead group therapy sessions to foster community support among individuals in recovery, encouraging the sharing of experiences and strategies for overcoming addiction.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention during emergency situations related to substance use, ensuring immediate and effective support for clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery techniques, available resources, and the importance of a supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
