This position is remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a collaborative connection with our multidisciplinary team via digital platforms. Our outpatient office supports a flexible work setting that emphasizes work-life balance, with structured hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You'll be joining a team of like-minded professionals committed to innovative, client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, specifically identifying any co-occurring disorders and their complexities.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that not only address mental health issues but also integrate effective strategies for substance use recovery, employing evidence-based interventions such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT).

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' coping skills, employing techniques for emotional regulation, and reducing the risk of relapse.

• Coordinate care efforts with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, ensuring an integrated treatment approach to foster optimal outcomes.

• Monitor substance use progress regularly, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to inspire clients and enhance their journey to recovery.

• Educate clients and their families about the interconnections between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment compliance and holistic care.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, treatment interventions, and referrals, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in case conferences and staff training sessions to continually improve skills related to the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on adults and adolescents battling co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. As you work with clients, you will implement tailored therapeutic practices that recognize the unique backgrounds and challenges of each individual. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A strong knowledge base in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• An excellent understanding of the interrelationship between mental health and substance use disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
