Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate patients' needs and formulate individualized treatment goals based on evidence-based practices.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to achieve lasting recovery outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to enhance patient engagement and foster a sense of community among individuals in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals grappling with substance use disorders, many of whom are veterans facing unique challenges in their recovery journeys. Your role will involve addressing various psychosocial factors impacting their recovery and adapting interventions to fit their specific backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is mandatory.
\n
• A solid foundation in substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to addiction recovery.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group counseling, particularly in an outpatient setting focusing on addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, accompanied by a non-judgmental and empathetic demeanor conducive to building trust with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
