Work Environment\n

This role is set within an innovative and engaging remote work environment, enhancing flexibility and work-life balance. Despite being remote, our team maintains a strong sense of community through regular video conferences, collaborative meetings, and peer support. The outpatient office operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patients' therapeutic needs. You will have access to modern telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems that ensure seamless communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand each patient's unique needs, challenges, and recovery goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the patient's specific circumstances.

• Provide individual counseling through techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, focusing on building coping strategies and encouraging motivation for recovery.

• Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences among individuals in recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other professionals to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary care focused on the best patient outcomes.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, offering immediate intervention and support as needed during substance-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on the nature of addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to support sustained recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance at all times.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to collaborative care approaches, and engage in ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in substance use disorder treatment to provide the most effective therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is primarily on individuals struggling with substance use disorders. You will work closely with diverse clients, representing a spectrum of ages and backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist within the state of California is essential.

• A comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care practices is necessary.

• Previous experience delivering individual and group therapy specifically in the field of addiction treatment is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to client care.

• Experience with EHR systems and relevant computer applications is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
