Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a varied caseload of clients, establishing trusting and professional relationships that foster therapeutic progress.

• Conduct regular sessions to evaluate client stability, progress, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor person-centered treatment plans that are tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.

• Maintain meticulous documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with professional standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to understand client histories and needs.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Engage in regular individual supervision and team meetings to discuss case strategies and personal development.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare and support providers to ensure holistic care and continuity for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is on youth clients, with an emphasis on providing support to those navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Our clinicians are equipped to employ specialized techniques and therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique ways children and adolescents process their experiences. Building rapport and developing a strong therapeutic alliance with clients is critical, as this greatly influences outcomes and engagement in the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Proficiency in meeting credentialing requirements for clinical practice in outpatient settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
