Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with all ethical and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care that maximizes treatment outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in workshops and training to remain abreast of the latest advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals and families facing a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, and your role will involve tailoring interventions to meet their distinct cultural and individual needs, thereby enhancing their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPCC license in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, with at least some of that time spent in a clinical setting.

• Proven ability to uphold and understand legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building rapport with diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a healthcare team, contributing positively to collaborative care efforts.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• Experience with community mental health initiatives or services tailored to underserved populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on experience and specified caseload. In addition, employees have access to comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, alongside professional liability insurance. Core Care also provides support in billing and documentation processes to help reduce clerical workloads, enabling you to focus more time on clinical work and client care.
