Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to provide therapeutic services tailored to meet the individual needs of clients. Specific responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and establish treatment goals.

• Monitoring client progress and outcomes by utilizing evidence-based techniques and regularly updating treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.

• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions, using techniques that are grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other relevant modalities.

• Building and maintaining rapport with clients and their families, ensuring they feel supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Providing educational resources and skill-building sessions for families to help them support their children's development effectively.

• Utilizing a coaching model and promoting natural environment teaching to enhance therapeutic relationships and improve client outcomes.

• Documenting all interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with clinic policy and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support come from diverse backgrounds and present a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience providing mental health therapy and counseling services.

• Active Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or in the process of obtaining licensure.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

• Self-motivated, with the initiative to complete billing and documentation requirements efficiently.
