Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and developing tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Maintaining clear and effective communication with supervisors, multidisciplinary team members, family members, and other stakeholders to enhance client support and progress updates.
\n
• Providing a tentative schedule for appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor client engagement and development.
\n
• Coordinating in-home visits when required, ensuring thorough documentation through chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.
\n
• Reviewing and ensuring that the implementation of therapy plans is carried out effectively, assessing and adjusting approaches as necessary based on client feedback and progress.
\n
• Participating actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to contribute to collective insights on client cases and treatment strategies.
\n
• Documenting client progress monthly and quarterly, creating reports that reflect advancements and any areas needing attention.
\n
• Organizing and leading training sessions to ensure that all staff members are knowledgeable about best practices in program implementation and documentation processes.
\n
• Providing follow-up services, including interviews, home visits, and observation, to ensure continued support for clients’ evolving needs.

• Assisting with the development of procedural training materials aimed at improving the overall effectiveness of the programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will involve working with a diverse population, including both adults and youth facing various mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance misuse. By utilizing evidence-based practices, you’ll ensure that clients from different backgrounds and experiences receive compassionate and effective therapeutic care.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this LPCC role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, with a focus on clinical settings.

• Demonstrated strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Experience collaborating with a healthcare team to achieve comprehensive client care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma treatment are highly preferred.
