Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and positive working relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and facilitate transition planning or discharge when appropriate.

• Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and assessment records for each client, in compliance with organizational standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and recommend appropriate interventions.

• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices that foster client engagement and growth.

• Participate in regular individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate client care and optimize treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with youth, focusing on mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your approach will be informed by current evidence-based practices, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment where young clients can express themselves and explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric populations or individuals with substance use disorders.

• Proven experience in assessment, diagnosis, and delivering both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
