Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Altitude Mental Health Care, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage a diverse caseload of youth clients, establishing rapport and developing trusting therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct initial intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs thoroughly and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individual treatment plans tailored to each client's unique strengths, challenges, and goals, ensuring these plans are regularly reviewed and adjusted as needed.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, monitoring the progress of clients and documenting detailed notes to track their development and stability.

• Engage in collaborative case management by working closely with other healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment approach.

• Participate in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and offer support to colleagues sharing similar patient populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with youth clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and behavioral concerns. Your contributions will be pivotal in guiding these young individuals toward recovery and resilience, ensuring they are equipped with the tools to navigate their emotional landscapes effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California is required.

• Proficiency in meeting internal credentialing requirements essential for practice within various clinical settings.

• Demonstrated experience of at least one year working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Competence in utilizing digital tools, including electronic health record systems for documentation, as well as requisite keyboarding skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
