Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport and professional boundaries to facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess progress, stability, and future appointments, as well as determine the appropriateness of discharge.

• Develop, implement, and continually monitor person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.
\n
• Complete up-to-date documentation including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather relevant information and evaluate clients' mental health status.
\n
• Provide individual therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to client engagement and therapy effectiveness.
\n
• Participate in regular individual supervision as part of your continuous professional development.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care is delivered to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with youth facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and substance use issues. Your approach will be compassionate and tailored, focusing on building relationships that promote stability and growth in your clients' lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Ability and willingness to meet internal credentialing requirements specific to our clinical environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of one year of hands-on experience working with psychiatric patients, including those from substance abuse backgrounds.
