This role offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling licensed mental health counselors to provide services from their own environment. While our outpatient office can serve as a base for client meetings when necessary, the primary mode of service delivery will be through teletherapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status, establishing a baseline for effective treatment planning.

• Guide clients through various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and mindfulness practices.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes using approved electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Offer referrals and coordinate care with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and community support services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client’s treatment.

• Participate in regular supervision and professional development, enhancing skills and staying current with best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse population, including individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience working with diverse patient populations.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering both individual and group therapy effectively, while fostering an inclusive environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
