Work Environment\n

This role is structured as a remote telehealth position, allowing you to work from home while engaging with clients via virtual platforms. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate evening sessions based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and compassionate assessments to evaluate the needs and goals of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions focusing on motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral strategies aimed at fostering recovery.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and shared experiences among clients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, integrated care across all aspects of treatment.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during substance-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and appropriate therapeutic responses.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction awareness, recovery resources, and strategies to successfully navigate their journeys toward sobriety.

• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically addresses the needs of adults grappling with substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited academic institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficient understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatments, and recovery-oriented philosophies.

• Prior experience in providing individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
