Work Environment\n

The position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements while remaining connected to our valued patients at our Community Health Clinic in Vallejo, California. The typical schedule runs Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate our patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Deliver effective individual counseling sessions, utilizing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster engagement and progress.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for individuals to share experiences and support one another in their recovery efforts.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, ensuring cohesive and integrated care for our patients.

• Support clients during crises related to substance use, offering immediate crisis intervention and coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction, recovery options, and available community resources to empower and guide them through the recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards, ensuring it is readily available for treatment planning and quality assurance.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss patient progress and share insights or new interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including those facing challenges related to alcohol and drug dependence. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.

• In-depth understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and evidence-based treatment modalities applicable in a community health setting.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, particularly within addiction treatment frameworks.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on a non-judgmental and empathetic approach toward clients.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while adhering strictly to ethical guidelines and patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documenting client interactions and progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
