As a remote position, the Mental Health Therapist will engage with patients primarily through virtual channels, making use of advanced telehealth technologies. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs and goals of clients seeking assistance with substance use disorders.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including individual counseling and group therapy.

• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions using therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to engage clients effectively.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that provide a collaborative space for individuals in recovery to share experiences, insights, and support one another.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and case managers to provide coordinated, integrative care.

• Offer immediate support and crisis intervention during emergency situations related to substance use.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.

• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and remains confidential, complying with applicable legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, encompassing a wide range of demographics, including adolescents and adults. Our patients come from various backgrounds, facing unique challenges associated with addiction, mental health issues, and social determinants of health. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, with additional performance-based bonuses available. Newly hired therapists will also be eligible for a sign-on bonus as a gesture of appreciation for choosing to join our mission.
