Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to gather comprehensive client histories, focusing on substance use and mental health challenges.

• Craft tailored treatment plans addressing both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Facilitate individual therapy and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Work collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all treatment strategies align with clients' goals.

• Engage and educate clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process to create a supportive home environment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with relevant regulations, protecting client privacy while providing necessary data for treatment continuity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults facing challenges related to substance abuse, including alcohol, opioids, and other addictive behaviors. Many clients may also experience co-occurring mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Your role is critical in helping them develop resilience, coping skills, and productive pathways towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or related credentials.

• A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders.

• Exceptional ability to build rapport with clients and engage them in the therapeutic process.

• Proficient communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
