Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use history along with mental health diagnoses.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction challenges and underlying mental health issues, ensuring holistic care.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Collaborate effectively with other team members, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers, to guarantee integrated and cohesive treatment.

• Educate and involve families in the recovery process, helping them understand addiction and fostering a supportive home environment.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and our approach is tailored to meet their specific needs, ensuring culturally competent care that acknowledges the complexities of their experiences.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license in New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field considered a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in addiction counseling and familiarity with treatment methodologies for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
