This position is remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining a strong connection to our community health clinic. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals presenting with substance use disorders to identify their needs, strengths, and recovery goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

• Facilitate both individual counseling sessions and group therapy discussions, creating a safe environment where clients can share experiences and support each other.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and addiction specialists to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during substance-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to respond calmly and effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on addiction-related topics, recovery strategies, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding of the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of treatment sessions, complying with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• A proven track record in delivering therapeutic services in both individual and group settings, specifically within addiction treatment environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The base salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
