Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in your therapeutic practice.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that provide a conducive environment for processing trauma and developing adaptive coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring holistic support for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during acute trauma-related emergencies, offering support and guidance to patients in need.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for the Licensed Mental Health Therapist position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
