Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with our geriatric population, many of whom face complex mental health challenges necessitating specialized therapeutic interventions. Understanding the unique needs of older adults is essential, as conditions such as dementia and depression can often require tailored therapeutic approaches and sensitivity to family dynamics.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Strong understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy specifically to older adults.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered, empathetic approach.
