Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, providing flexibility and convenience to our employees. While the core work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, tailored to their unique challenges, such as changes in cognition and comorbid health conditions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that adequately address each patient's psychiatric needs and consider their physical and social circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus at Abundance Counseling Center is on the geriatric population. As a therapist, you will work closely with older adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and cognitive impairments. Your expertise will help improve their quality of life, assisting in coping with various emotional and psychological struggles they face.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas is essential.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a patience-centered and empathetic approach.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
