Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in your professional life while continuing to serve clients effectively. You will work primarily from your home office but may also work occasionally in our outpatient office based in Tacoma. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments that identify clients’ mental health needs, stressors, and personal goals to tailor mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Deliver high-quality mindfulness-based interventions, specifically Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing anxiety and stress effectively.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to foster self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate group workshops that focus on mindfulness and resilience-building strategies, creating supportive spaces for shared learning and growth.

• Work collaboratively with a network of healthcare providers and fellow therapists to integrate mindfulness into comprehensive treatment plans for clients with varying mental health concerns.

• Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and the impact of mindfulness interventions in accordance with organizational policies.

• Engage in regular professional development to enhance your mindfulness practice, staying current with research and new therapeutic techniques.

Your work will primarily involve guiding adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Proficiency in mindfulness practices and the ability to integrate these techniques effectively into therapeutic sessions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and rapport with clients in a therapeutic setting.
