In this remote role, you will be supported by a vibrant team that prioritizes collaboration and knowledge sharing. Our office operates with a flexible schedule, adhering to the core working hours of Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours required on a rotating basis based on client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, promptly identifying the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions, ensuring each plan addresses individual mental health and substance use needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that foster the development of vital coping skills, relapse prevention techniques, and strategies for emotional regulation.
\n
• Coordinate comprehensive care with our multidisciplinary team, engaging with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to provide well-rounded support for clients.

• Monitor substance use on an ongoing basis, utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients throughout their recovery journey.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the complexities of the interactions between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of treatment adherence.

• Maintain accurate and prompt documentation regarding treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, in line with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, staff training, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will revolve around a diverse clientele struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This population often seeks help for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated proficiency in employing evidence-based therapies specifically designed for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• A comprehensive understanding of the relationship between mental health issues and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues in an interdisciplinary setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
