The Renovate Family Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team in a full-time remote capacity. As a Health Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their journey to recovery. You will utilize your clinical training and expertise to assess, plan, and deliver personalized therapy, ensuring that each client receives the support they need from the moment they enter our facility to their eventual discharge.

Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will have the flexibility to work from home, collaborating with our outpatient team through digital platforms. Our outpatient office supports a range of counseling programs that focus on individual, family, and group therapy, ensuring that you have immediate access to a supportive clinical team. Weekly collaborative meetings will allow you to engage with colleagues, enhancing the interdisciplinary approach to our clients’ care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans in partnership with clients.

• Establish therapeutic rapport by meeting with clients within twenty-four hours of admission.
\n
• Complete the Biopsychosocial assessments on admission day and ensure that Comprehensive Treatment Plans (CTPs) and Integrated Treatment Summaries are finalized within three days.
\n
• Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions three times a week and engage clients in conjoint family therapy sessions at least once weekly.
\n
• Lead and facilitate professional and multifamily groups, fostering group cohesion and therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with insurance companies to obtain necessary certifications, providing critical clinical information as required.
\n
• Document and write detailed Discharge Summaries, ensuring continuity of care and clear communication of treatment progress.
\n
• Be available and accessible to client families, providing additional support and education as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals dealing with mental health issues, substance dependency, and various behavioral challenges. A significant portion of our clientele may also include families seeking guidance during crises in their relationships or coping with the complexities of dual diagnoses. Understanding the nuances and diverse demographic background of our patients is essential in delivering sensitive and effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health field is required.

• Current licensure as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in Washington state or eligibility to register with state licensing boards is essential.

• At least one year of direct experience in acute care or residential treatment environments is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of ethical practices in mental health and confidentiality laws is critical, along with an understanding of therapeutic processes.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment are mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with dual diagnosis and familiarity with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) preferred.

• Prior experience working with family dynamics and group therapy facilitation.

Renovate Family Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 71,000 to 102,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside an attractive benefits package.
