Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Clinician, your daily activities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to assess clients' substance abuse history and mental health status, utilizing standardized tools as well as clinical interviews.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to encourage engagement and foster change.

• Participating in treatment team meetings to collaborate with fellow clinicians, case managers, and support staff, ensuring cohesive care delivery for clients.

• Providing education and support to clients' families to empower their involvement and nurture a supportive home environment during and after the treatment process.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol and drug dependence. This role requires a compassionate approach to aiding clients who may also struggle with underlying mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression, providing a safe space for them to express themselves and seek help.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in Pennsylvania.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong skills in therapeutic practices, with a motivational approach capable of inspiring clients towards recovery.
