Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, employing various assessment tools to accurately identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families through recognized modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups designed to address common mental health issues and foster a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to create a coordinated and holistic patient care approach.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and appropriate follow-up care.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, primarily focusing on children, adolescents, and their families. The patients you serve may present with a range of challenges related to mental health, including developmental issues, trauma, and emotional disturbances. Your therapeutic interventions will be critical in helping these individuals navigate their difficulties, develop coping strategies, and achieve greater mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license to practice in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.

• Strong foundational knowledge in mental health disorders and a wide array of evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
