Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand each client's history and current challenges, formulating tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that address issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse individuals and families experiencing a range of emotional challenges and mental health disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, reflecting the rich tapestry of our community in Thousand Oaks. Engaging with this diverse patient population requires culturally sensitive approaches and adaptive strategies to cater to the distinct experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited university.

• A valid and active mental health license in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT).
\n
• At least two (2) years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating expertise in facilitating therapy sessions.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and establish rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, enhancing the efficiency of documentation and treatment planning.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or humanistic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
