Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders among clients.

• Collaborate closely with clients to craft individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a person-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, primarily using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to positively impact client outcomes.

• Provide informative education to clients and their families concerning mood disorders, potential treatment pathways, and effective self-care techniques that empower them on their journey toward recovery.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout their treatment courses, making necessary adjustments to their treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each client.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments and research in the field of mood disorders, applying this knowledge to enhance treatment strategies and client interactions.

• Maintain diligent and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to refine clinical skills and review best practices in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Advocate for client rights and promote the destigmatization of mental health issues within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services, particularly focusing on mood disorders, is essential.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, with demonstrated application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong ability to engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to develop integrated care solutions for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
