Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Honor Your Emotions, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate diagnoses that guide the therapeutic process.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to effectively address client concerns.

• Document therapy sessions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in individual therapy with diverse clients ranging from children to adults, and facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to enhance client care and outcomes.

• Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities to elevate your clinical practice.

• Remain flexible, adapting to the changing needs of the practice and our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass working with clients across a spectrum of ages and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. You will address a variety of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma. Experience working with culturally and ethnically diverse populations is highly valued as we strive to create an inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as an LMFT or LCSW in California, in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (CA BBS).

• Registration with the CAQH and experience being paneled with insurance providers, specifically Alameda Alliance, is a plus.
\n
• Strong clinical assessment skills, organizational abilities, and time-management expertise.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work as a collaborative team member.

Preferred Experience\n

We encourage applicants with experience in a diverse range of disorders and age groups, as well as those who speak Spanish or other languages, as we offer a bilingual salary differential. Candidates who have a history of working within private practices and a familiarity with teletherapy are particularly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
