Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, establishing their specific needs and treatment goals.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions using modalities such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to address underlying issues related to addiction.

• Lead group therapy sessions that create a safe space for participants to share experiences and learn from one another.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, coordinating treatment strategies effectively.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute substance-related issues or emergencies, ensuring timely access to necessary resources.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
