In this full-time position, you will provide specialized mental health care to individuals grappling with trauma. Work Environment\n

This role offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility for both clients and therapists. Our operations run smoothly from Monday to Friday, with normal business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the scheduled work hours are consistent, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs, ensuring that care is accessible to those who rely on it.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients’ trauma histories and develop targeted treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment strategies that prioritize recovery and resilience, using evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma experiences, applying coping strategies, and fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care that meets the diverse needs of our clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional stability.

• Instruct clients and their families on understanding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for continued support.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic practices focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving individuals impacted by various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and catastrophic incidents. You will provide essential support to clients suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and related disorders, employing a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to foster trust and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the State of Washington.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting specializing in trauma recovery is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in actively delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a committed approach to compassionate care.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and manage crises effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer software applications.
\n
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused therapy are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with group therapy dynamics and crisis intervention protocols will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
