Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health history and current needs.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, to assist clients in processing traumatic experiences.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients develop effective coping mechanisms and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and additional healthcare providers to ensure cohesive, integrated patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention services when necessary, helping patients navigate acute mental health emergencies related to trauma.

• Educating patients and families about trauma responses and available resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Documenting all sessions accurately and maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards for confidentiality.

• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to foster knowledge-sharing and improve overall client outcomes.

• Staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents who have encountered various traumatic situations, ranging from abuse and neglect to loss and life-threatening events. This role is particularly suited for individuals who are dedicated to instilling hope and empowerment in their clients, guiding them through the intricate pathway of recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in settings that emphasize trauma recovery and mental health interventions. Familiarity with group therapy dynamics and experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
