Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address a client’s unique mental health needs.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically to each client’s situation.

• Collaborate with fellow counselors and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive support networks for clients, enhancing the therapeutic experience.

• Stay current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health counseling through ongoing training and professional development.

• Contribute to program development by proposing innovative ideas and improvements based on client feedback and clinical outcomes.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring clients’ safety and emotional stability during distressing situations.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families, who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.
