Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ mental health needs, history, and existing challenges.

• Craft individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a focus on recovery from complex trauma.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's unique journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage sharing and healing, guiding patients through their trauma recovery processes.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive, integrated care for all patients.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies with effective crisis interventions and support options, ensuring patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and families on the effects of trauma, available coping strategies, and community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of patient care, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health documentation.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings aimed at refining care approaches and providing input on shared challenges within trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of individuals affected by various trauma-related disorders including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients range from adolescents to adults seeking compassionate guidance and evidence-based support for their unique experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care.

• Proven expertise in treating trauma-related disorders and implementing trauma-focused therapies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations, offering reassurance and support to patients in need.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in essential computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with a deep understanding of trauma interventions, alongside strong clinical skills, are encouraged to apply. Experience with community health clinics or outpatient settings will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
