Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to deeply understand each patient’s history and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Deliver scientifically validated therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with coping strategies to process trauma, while promoting emotional healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to maintain an integrative approach to each patient’s care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional support.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources.

• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and confidentially, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
