Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma histories and to develop effective treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery and promoting resilience, ensuring they are regularly updated in accordance with patient progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aiding patients in processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and fostering healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for our patients.

• Provide critical crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and creating a safe environment for clients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to remain current with trauma-informed care best practices.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, with a specific emphasis on those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and associated mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care principles and therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to engage with clients compassionately and non-judgmentally.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
