Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma history and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on healing, trauma recovery, and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to foster patient recovery.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses, building coping mechanisms, and connecting with available resources.

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at In-Health Consulting, you will work primarily with individuals impacted by trauma, including adults suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your role is critical in helping them process their experiences, learn effective coping strategies, and regain control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
