Work Environment\n

This full-time role predominantly operates in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our patients and the team. Our outpatient office serves as a supportive facility for both in-person and telehealth sessions, ensuring clients receive consistent care tailored to their circumstances. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, focusing on building resilience and coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to achieve optimal client outcomes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment for clients to process their traumas and share experiences with others undergoing similar challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, using established protocols to stabilize clients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and resources available to assist in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance and respect for patient privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will be working primarily with individuals recovering from trauma, including those affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-focused treatment modalities, and techniques for building resilience.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
