Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine relevant treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting clients in processing their trauma and developing coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services swiftly during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely support.

This role specifically targets individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n
