Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans concentrating on trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy contexts.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate consistently with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients, including regular case consultations and team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive immediate attention and care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating your capacity to handle complex cases.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, underpinned by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring effective delivery of care.

• Experience using electronic health record systems and other relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in trauma-focused therapies or with specific training in EMDR and TF-CBT will be given preference. Familiarity with resilience-building techniques and approaches will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
