This role will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while serving our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and assess their individual needs, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional well-being.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and somatic therapies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients through shared experiences and coping strategy development.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, guiding patients with empathy and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, available resources, and the journey to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of accountability in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this position is primarily on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with intervention techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
