Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and introduce appropriate treatment methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, operationalizing evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies to enhance their overall mental health.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive, integrated care tailored to their specific needs.

• Organize and participate in crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, enabling the provision of timely support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and available community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, focusing on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve our therapeutic offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on individuals affected by trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and a range of related mental health issues. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, each with unique experiences and challenges. Our goal is to support these individuals on their journey toward recovery, helping them rebuild their lives in a safe and sensitive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Skilled in crisis intervention strategies and experienced in working with trauma-focused therapies.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to provide psychotherapy, especially with trauma survivors.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
