Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate and document patients' trauma histories and present challenges, tailoring interventions accordingly.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect a deep understanding of trauma recovery principles, focusing on resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for patients to process their experiences, explore coping strategies, and foster personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals on the care team to ensure integrated and holistic treatment for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating empathy and composure in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available to aid in their recovery.

• Accurately document patient interactions and treatment progress in a compliant manner, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including both acute and chronic experiences. We focus on empowering our patients through individualized care plans, allowing them to regain control over their lives and work towards emotional stability. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding patients of all backgrounds through their healing journeys in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for candidates who have specialized training in trauma-informed therapies.

• Proficient understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities tailored to individual patient needs.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with diverse patient populations and the multidisciplinary care team.

• Strong familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
