In this remote role based in Houston, Texas, you will work with clients to foster emotional well-being and resilience through specialized mindfulness interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). As part of our team, you will operate in a fully remote setup, allowing for flexible work hours while maintaining a strong connection with clients. You will adhere to a structured schedule, working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based therapies, primarily focusing on MBSR, to support clients in achieving stress reduction and improved emotional health.

• Conduct initial client assessments to identify stressors, mental health challenges, and personal goals, and develop personalized mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, aimed at increasing self-awareness and promoting emotional stability.

• Facilitate group workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management, and strategies to enhance resilience, enabling clients to connect and share their experiences.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to address each client's unique needs and mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with a dedicated team of therapists and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness practices into comprehensive treatment plans, enhancing the overall effectiveness of client care.

• Document client progress, mindfulness techniques employed, and treatment outcomes meticulously to inform future sessions and ensure ongoing success in treatment.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and attend professional development workshops to enhance skills and stay current in mindfulness methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals who experience stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. You will assist clients in developing effective strategies to cope with their challenges and achieve mental wellness, fostering an environment of trust and openness.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundation in mindfulness practices and therapeutic methodologies; extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional communication skills to cultivate a supportive therapeutic environment conducive to client engagement and growth.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
