This position allows for a flexible work setting, primarily conducted remotely, which emphasizes autonomy while ensuring consistent support from fellow team members. Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients focused on stress relief and self-improvement.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients’ specific challenges, stressors, and personal mental health goals, tailoring mindfulness techniques to meet their unique needs.

• Lead individual sessions employing mindfulness techniques such as meditation, conscious breathing, and body awareness exercises aimed at fostering self-regulation and emotional balance.

• Facilitate group workshops that educate clients on mindfulness practices, stress management approaches, and resilience-enhancing strategies, enriching their coping mechanisms.

• Document client progress extensively, maintaining accurate records of treatment plans, interventions used, and client outcomes to ensure effective monitoring and follow-up care.

• Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness practices seamlessly into a cohesive treatment strategy for clients.

• Engage in continuous personal mindfulness practice and professional development opportunities to further enhance your qualifications and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Rebuild Mental Healthcare, you will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. You will utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to engage effectively with clients from different backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington is required.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing mindfulness principles in therapeutic settings is desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
